Radio Screen Problem

The screen in our radio disappeared after getting wet from an unexpected rain while the sunroof was open. Does anyone have an suggestions on how to fix this (short of replacing the radio)?
Thanks in advance!

Is the radio still working apart from the screen? Sound, playing Cd’s etc.
