Wiring Route from Passenger Seat |
|
Hi, Does any one know what's the best route for wiring from passenger underseat to stereo? I opened glove box but unfortunately cannot find an exsiting wire to follow through the back of the box.

I went:
Forward along the door sill in the wiring channel there.
Up under the A-post kickplate.
Pull out outer dash vent panel.
feed wiring between upper and lower glovebox areas
Slightly down into the stereo rear area.
Think this should work for either-hand drive if needed by anyone else. I think. Cheers

An easier route is just to push the cable up under the bottom of the centre console sides and then under the seat rail. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Thanks for your advice, actually how can i remove the door sill and A-post kickplate? is that i just pull hard and get them off? also, how thick for the wire i can put in between the upper and lower glovebox area? i am going to put afew wiring harness plus one 8awg constant positive wire running from battery.
