Suspension dropping over time? |
|
Guys,
Has anyone noticed if the suspension of their car drops over say the course of a week?
Our 05 HSE hasnt been used since Christmas Eve and I noticed that it looked really low - when I started it up it "pumped" itself up to "Normal" height?
Is it normal for the suspension to drop (to what looked like "Access" height or lower) when not in use over an extended period - or do I have a leak of some sort?
I've also noticed the 05 doesnt seem to sit as high as our 09 model - I'm not sure if this is just an optical illusion created by the different wheel arch "brows" of the 09's or the 09's just sit higher....or my 05 has lost some "height" over time (saggy bits?)....or it's just somehow?
Havent had any warning messages and car seems to drive OK?

Completely normal, especially as the ambient temperature is lower than it was a week ago - therefore the air is denser and takes up less space, allowing the suspension to lower

Thanks!
Yes it was minus 4 degrees C today when I checked - whereas it was probably plus 10 when the car was parked!
