tapping/rasping noise when making left turns

Theres a tapping or a rasping noise comming from the gearbox or maybe front right wheel when I make a left turn and accelerate. Its def a mechanical noise and I can feel in when my hand is on the gear selector. I set my mobile on it an recorded the sound the links are below. I can also hear it faintly if I accelerate hard in a straight line.

Any ideas? Im gonna ring up the service department in the morning but Im not sure if it will be a holiday for them. Its an automatic btw

Sounds like the bump stops need greasing . Not a big deal to do . There have been posts on this previously . Do a search Thumbs Up

Bump stops seriously? Like suspension limiting stops aka bump stops?

Not steering bump stops, more like outer CV joint, try it at access height and offroad height - if it's worse at offroad but quieter at access then definitely driveshaft CV, if there's no difference then possibly front differential

The sounds on the links sounds somethign a bit more than the bump stops (technically steering bump stops rather than suspension)

Sounds like a wobbly diff or CV joint or similar......
