Wireless Winch remote
Trying to install a wireless remote to my Superwinch EP9 but it will only power out and not in. Don't really understand the switching system on these winches and solenoids
Has anyone done this and if so should it be a simple job? The remote wiring kit has a feed, earth and winch in and winch out connection which I have wired in parallel to the hand controller connections (which works fine) at the solenoid pack.2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

Have you tryed the remote on it own to prove its ok
Power up the feed and earth ..then check the other 2 wires are putting voltage out when you press in / out
I have a remote and should be very easy to wire up . I have a switch inbetween the hand controller and remote to switch the live feed from one to anotherG4 Gone ...but not forgotten

It's packed up altogether now so can't test it (probably burnt it out ), sending back for exchange.
I just wasn't sure if the Superwinch solenoids had some sort of reverse polarity switching? The remote switches 12v out so assumed the solenoid pack worked in the same way?2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

Dunno about superwinches
Mine just takes a 12 volt feed to either solinoid to operate in /out .
I have changed my original solinoids for a Albright solinoid ( all in one unit ..waterproof ) but works the same as the old solinoidsG4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Will rig a fused feed up and touch to the in/out connectors to test before fitting the new remote when it arrives. Superwinch use the waterproof allbright solenoid as standard so it should be the same.2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto
