Manual can also stall when in high ratio on very steep hill starts. Starts moving off OK with no problem... then decides to change its mind and drop the revs. Excessive clutch slip is then need to coax it in to continuous motion.

Happened on my MY05 as well as the MY08.

I get exactly that as well. Hill starts, all seems fine then it's a "wait a minute I dont want to do that" needs a clutch dip.

Mine also stalls offroad, mainly coz i'm pish at offroading Rolling Eyes

Yes, mine does. So did the LR Experience vehicles that I drove. I understand that if you switch DSC off and lock the box down to second gear, it will happen less.

You did stall a number of times at Boughrood last time on one of the very challenging sections.

Not a criticism, just saying I've seen your auto and a number of others do the same.
