Had to change the lower ashtray pack today as the spring went in the centre tray. God is that a pig of a trim panel to remove! All centre stack out, hazard switch, cd/radio, climate etc, then it is held in by the centre console so that has to lift too. Anyway done all that but can't get the right hand 12v cigar socket out of the panel to save my life. It isn't supplied with the new piece so needs to be transferred.
Tried prising it and pushing it but it won't shift. Anyone done it before I do my usual and get annoyed and break it 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto
