Racking it up
Mine came back from its 75k mile service with a note saying that the rack is starting to show signs of wear, and that (as yet) there are no repair kits or service exchange racks on the market - is this true, or do you guys know something different???Rob Smith

the joints of my steering rack were changed around end of July this year, so there must be a repair or service kit available.Duncan

likewise, had bits on mine done on its last service at yeovil, seems the symptom is a slight knocking feeling through the steering wheel when going over small bumps at low speed
that was at 243,000 mile service
