0 uploads were successful

When I try to upload pictures the site says, "0 uploads were successful". I've had this problem for a couple of weeks now. Is it likely that I've reached the limit of allocated space for my galleries or is there some other problem? I'm using the same process that I've successfully used to post pictures in the past. Confused

Just got the same message, reduced the image to 1024x768 and re-tried with no problem. There's a 7MB filesize limit.

My files were much less than 7MB. Generally, they're smaller than 3MB. However, I just reduced the size of one of them to about 1MB on my PC and it uploaded successfully. Here it is (you can see on the site that it's 355kb after upload):

It depends how quick your internet connection is for uploading - the script will timeout if it takes too long, which is why there can appear to be a variable maximum file size Smile

I'm having a similar problem, but with the Avatar. It has to be no larger than 12KB, but I can't get it below about 25KB. Using Photoshop CS3, sized at 100 px wide, but even if I save with max compression still can't get anywhere near Big Cry

Any help would be appreciated Thumbs Up

It's your UPLOAD speed which is important. You're highly unlikely to be uploading at 4.9Mbit/sec.

Also, there's no need to use BMPs - they should compress to a small fraction of the size as a JPG, GIF or PNG.

Just a quick addition on this - I found that even posting a (relatively) small bmp was causing this error yesterday, and I'm on Virgin 20Mb broadband (790KBps upload). Switching to jpg fixed it though.

I just figured it was all my own fault for wasting site storage Wink
