I think its a great idea especially as like you I'm a newbie and have not had the benefit of the other forum members discussions, advice and tips developed over a long period Wish I had but only got my D3 in May 08 and still working out how things work.

A few Kempton Kippers but hardly been this year Steve. Did a couple of hours on Kennet behind the dump last week for 1 x 7lb'er. Not fished this stretch before and was a bit nervy leaving the D3 there but there's some nice looking spots for sure. Might give it another go later this week.
