Why Love my D3...Why do you love yours |
|
Extract from 4X4 ofroad adveture club article
"We built the road little by little as we moved the first car up the hill. It was slow going, because the road was built according to what we thought was needed, but then the vehicle got blocked by a step, or lost traction. Eventually the first vehicle reached the top of the hill after taking about 45 minutes to move 100m. This scenario was to replay itself over and over again during the course of the morning, as each vehicle that moved up the hill spun the rocks out. All these rocks had to be repacked according to the ground clearance of the next vehicle. The only two vehicles that managed to drive up the hill with no difficulty were a Disco 3, and a Defender with ARB difflocks."

It took 2.5 hrs to get the 9 vehicles up this hill. Pics of D3 assent show it took 1 min. It climbed like a Mountain goat

Thats exaccery why we love 'em!
Also because you can take the same vehicle (maybe after washing it inside & out) and use it to take the Mrs. to a larney dinner in style

Henie. I have a split personality (good cop, bad cop/city boy, farm boy)
you have a multiple personality (Heine, Alice, voices.....etc.)
