BAZ xxxx The Warren, Abersoch

Spotted a dark blue D3 reg BAZ xxxx with an orange DISCO3 round sticker in the windscreen on The Warren chalet park today, just past the swimming pool. I was walking towards the pool with the SWMBO and the kids, one of them was on an electric scooter.

You must have spotted my D3? it was parked outside the chalet most of the weekend.

Hi Gareth,

That was me, the clue's in the name!!

I saw your steed all weekend, I even pomped the horn when I passed one day! We are on 'S' too so a very small world hey?

SWMBO just couldn't get her head round how excited I was to see so many Disco3 stickers on one car!!

Thumbs Up

Didn't hear you pomp your horn Laughing Probably got drowned out by the tractors towing ocean liners past the chalet 8)

Its my parents chalet, and we usually get down 2 or 3 times a year. I may be back down there next weekend, its good therapy to get away from the builders here.

I could not believe how many D3's, FFRR's, and other 4x4's are resident on the Warren these days.

ahhh, one of the tractors might have been me too - sorry! Very Happy

The D3 does feel a bit common when i'm down there, havign said that it was all Q7's for a year or 2 and the LR badge has made a definite comeback in the past 12 months which is good to see.

I like the "exotica" that you see down there. Did you see Robbie Savage in the Lamborghini or the Audi R8? The architect guy from Manchester that has the first Alfa Competizioni was there as well.

Ah well, none of them can get wheel nuts deep on the beach and still drive home afterwards! Twisted Evil

Hope to bump into you next time. Thumbs Up

I watched a chap reverse his RRSport into the sea on Saturday Shocked Just to launch a rubber dinghy which I could have carried down the beach on my own!

One thing I have noticed about the beach is that security and the local council seem to have given up on stopping people driving onto, and parking cars, boats and trailers all over the place. I seem to remember when I first started going down there (15 years ago) that they were very strict about who could drive onto, and where you could launch and park on the beach. Seems a bit of a free-for-all now.

Did you see the wrecked yacht washed up on Monday morning?

I keep saying I will get a boat, but never quite got round to it.

That yacht washed up on Saturday night, much hilarity ensued when the security numpties tried to right it by slinging a rope round it and pulling it with their X-trail. I was laughing even before he dumped the clutch and spun all 4 wheels into big holes!

Theses summer weekends have been an absolute free for all on the beach, worse than ive ever seen it. There was an E-class estate on there on Sunday FFS!

Watching the air ambulance land on the beach on Sunday was pretty impressive I have to say.

Shame we didn't get to meet really, always amazes me this interweb, it's so global but we were staying not even 100yds from each other last weekend!

Thumbs Up
