I don't think you can program second hand keys.

You better off with one of these, and program with IID

funny enough that was the exact same company i ordered from , have sent in a return request to ebay

they sent me a 315mhz key

have found another company in southampton, new for £45

a lot cheaper than land rover

took a pic of the key that just turned up , will be nice to have a spare key

hope u can make it out what it says on the key

Faulty keyfob

Hi

I have lost one key and the remaining one is intermittent locking/unlocking

I need to buy a new unused fob with electronics
Can you post or PM company name where you bought yours ? for £45 ??

just looked on ebay and the listing isn't there anymore , didn't realise it was some 7 x months ago when i bought mine

see there's plenty from china , complete keys for around 30 quid , don't know if anyone else has ordered one from china or hong kong

alas they are £75 quid but based in the uk

I've just had a spare key cut and programmed by Alan who sells the fobs at the right frequency on ebay:

Where did you get the key cut? When buying my Disco 3, it came with two keys that both unlock and lock the car (remotely), however one of them doesn't turn in the ignition (I think it may be worn slightly). Did they remove the blade to cut it? As I plan on getting just a blank.

By him at his place in London - drove up one eve to meet him. took 30 mins for him to cut two keys (including a blank I took along as a spare) and re programme them all. Didn't remove the blade to cut it as could do it on his machine with it in place.

Also has a place in Essex he can do it at. Well worth contacting IMO, good keys and knows his stuff. Disco 3 V8 with added LPG
Disco 5
Plus a few other toys...
