Rock on, dude. Sorry, I'm not a surfer dude, but couldn't resist.
I've been lurking here for a few months, picked up an '06 LR3 HSE about 2 months ago, and am liking it alot. My wife and I bought it to be a baby hauler (due in March), and now we fight over who gets to drive it. Course, once the baby is born, it goes where he goes.
Happy Holidays!
Corey

Well, about time I spoke up too! Picked up my first Disco3 last Friday and thoroughly chuffed with it. Only found this forum a few days before delivery - lbeen catching up on lots of great discussions since then.
This is my first experience of landrovers, indeed 4x4s. Had a volvo V70 before and came down on D3 over the XC90 having tested out both. With a family of 5 and an upgrade of caravan to a large double-axle, we were pushing the weight ratios with the V70. We also pull a RIB, so no more wheel spin on the slipway!
Big attractions of the D3 were the 7 seats, boot space, weight, 4x4, great driving position and surprising agility on the road thanks to air suspension / DSC, etc......oh yes, and all the toys on board that it comes with!
Merry Christmas to you all.

Welcome to all the newcomers !
Feels great to see so many of you in so many different countries ! Nice one !!
For the European (Mainland ones...) don't forget the chance to have a "get together" at Eurodisney... There's a thread somewhere about just this...
