OK I'm thinking of selling my D3 and I'd value your opinion on what to ask.
I'm aware all the extras don't really add to the value but if someone is looking for a D3 with all the major problem areas sorted it might be what their looking for.
So:-
2006 56 TDV6 SE in java black.
113000 miles
I replaced the engine when I bought it with a (I'm told) 2008 unit from a Range Rover with 50000 but I take the mileage at face value but the age of the engine is seems correct as it had the later high pressure fuel pump on.
I have replaces the cam belt, tensioner and idler pulleys, fuel pump belt and tensioner, modified oil pump.
De-EGR'd including the coolers and pipework so no leaking coolers.
Stage 1 remap by J E Engineering, ITG air filter and de-cat.
Front brake discs and pads (Brembo's)
N/S/R upper wishbone
De-tangoed halogen lights
D4 rear led lights
Removable towbar with securing plate
New alternator
Silicon intercooler hose.
New battery with 4 years of the warranty left
Autobox rebuild (£1200 receipt) by Transmission Technologies of Knowle.
Leather heated front and rear seats, fronts are electrically adjustable with memory.
Factory tints and sat nav.
I'm sure there's more stuff I've forgotten but you get the jist.
It's wanted for nothing while I've had it.
Bodyworks dent free just a few age related lacquer scratches here and there, and a minor scrape on the rear bumper (should repair easy enough).
So what do you think peeps EGR blanked and plumbing removed
De-cat
J E Engineering stage 1 remap
D4 rear Lights
LED bulbs all over the place!

Well, on that basis, my 06 HSE (107k) must be worth only £10-11k.
In that case, given I can't see anything this side of £30k (D4 SDV6 HSE/Landmark) that I'd want to replace it with, looks like another year or two with the old girl
It may cost me a few quid to keep running sweet but it still gives me the perma-grin. '06 TDV6 HSE, Java, Black Leather, Logic 7, Privacy, Steps

^ Sounds about right price for this area anyway. My 06 HSE was just over that last year with sub 80k on the clock.
There's at least a 15k+ Price gap between a D3 and similarly specced D4 it seems - which is probably about right.

I know we're a biased on here, and I know they can cost a lot to run, but a sorted D3 for £10k has just got to be regarded as amazing value for money.
Mine is genuinely better now than when I bought if for £22k three and a half years and 35k miles ago '06 TDV6 HSE, Java, Black Leather, Logic 7, Privacy, Steps
