I see that there is no mention of my local dealer in South East London (Beadles of Sidcup) - Time to put that right!
I have had dealings with these guys for some time (looking after my D2 - although not supplied by them) and have generally been impressed.
I recently decided that the time was right for a D3 and their response has been most professional. I was loaned a car to test (they must have known I'd get hooked!) and they were very helpful in getting hold of my preference for colour, model etc. I have found all staff to be helpful, but would single out Mark Currie (Senior Sales Executive) for specific praise...
Remember to mention the forum to Mark if you call...
Well done you guys - Keep up the good work!

Did you get a decent discount from Beadles? I am negotiating a purchase with them at the moment and they're being cagey about giving money off! PM me if you prefer, Cheers

A typical saturday morning to find a bolt in the tyre and just outside the legal area to be repaired. So off I go to beadles dealership at 9.30am praying that they have a wheel in stock.
Neil had one in stock, Replaced and fitted in a very short time.
A first class service just by turning up.
Nice one Beadles!!

Had a call from Beadles last week to remind me that it's Flo's first service soonish...
Spoke with a very nice chap called Rob, their original price was only slightly more than the site "norm" - but asked them to price match to bring it into line - no problem -
Loan car booked - Let's wait and see what I get...
Watch this space for follow up on how it goes... "Funny, mine doesn't do that......."

Flo's in...
I'm in a FL2 TD4S... - it's silver -
Not bad but I wouldn't swap -
Dropped Flo off this morning, all booked in no problems... Even got to take a techy (Mark) around the block to try and locate an annoying rattle/buzz that I have managed to ignore up 'til now...
Updates to follow... "Funny, mine doesn't do that......."

First Service Follow Up... |
|
Flo was ready for collection on Monday night as promised... (but I did have to ring to be told this...)
Service performed at agreed price...
Sat Nav on move TSB applied (£49)...
The rattle from passenger door was investigated - (not sure if this has been fully cured yet...)
Extra oil, hand wipes and LR WD40 supplied...
She had been cleaned, inside and out...
Generally a good job I'd say -
Oh and a nice chat with Caroline on service desk when I collected the car - "Funny, mine doesn't do that......."

A big thanks to Tony for a fantastic sales Service
A great deal on part exchange and a even better price on new xs.
My D3 was coming up to 30months old and time came to update.
Pre registered car with 4miles on the clock, right colour, right add on features, leather seats and bluetooth!
I would also like to thank Alan and Greg for giving a big incentive to buy!
Six days later ready to collect in the new pre delivery suite.
Nice one Beadles!

FLO just had another service here - Very good job all round -
They even had a fair stab at cleaning her! Caroline and Mark seem keen to see "what they're made for" samples in amongst the very shiny ones!!!
Nice friendly staff (as always!), good loaner, fair price... Can't say more than that... Oh, except that some of the deals on new ones were very tempting... "Funny, mine doesn't do that......."

Beadles Sidcup- Excellent |
|
Just had a long list of niggles sorted out at Beadles
A dodgey battery had caused a multitude of problems inluding a failure to start on several occasions
Poor voltage also lead the car to go into inapropriate modes on the motorway and virtually every system either randomly shutting down or sending error messages! A bit scary
Beadles were superb, in particular Aaron in the servive dept who took time to go through all the problems and report back to me on collection
To add to this the new LRX was in when i went to pick the car up and the ladies even found a carton of juice for my son-
brilliant service and the car feels amazing now - thanks
Was a bit shocked that the TD4 freelander (manual) only managed 21mpg! And that was with gentle driving "its probably a virus, you'll be right as rain in a few days and if you're playing sport try to favour the other leg"

XX03 went in yesterday to Beadles of Sidcup.
1st challenge was to work out the coffee machine.....mastered that without much problem.
XX03 wisked off for N/S emergency access door lock not unlocking, having previously NOT BEEN DONE by Harwoods. 1hr later all done and now unlocking without a problem, had a nice chat with Caroline in service who has been brought up with Land Rovers and shows a passion for everything Land Rover.
Thanks Beadles and Caroline I will be back. Formerly Blakey
