Sat in the back of my 5-day old D3 for the first time today and was surprised to see a set of heater controls in the roof panel, I fiddled around with them but they don't seem to do anything. When I checked the manual it refers to rear air con but I don't have the outlet vents in the 3rd row of seats or an activation button on the main a/c control panel. So I'm wondering if a. I'm being dim and all D3's have these controls or b. has it had the wrong panel fitted at the factory?
Help please! 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

look at it the other way round... if the rear controls are there.... it's the other bits that are missing 'phone call to the dealers..." the heater controls in the rear don't work - please fix"

Seriously folks, does anyone else have these controls fitted to a base car? I am going to the dealer tomorrow and don't want to look daft if they are supposed to be there on a 06MY car. 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

I agree act as if you know nothing and ask the dealer to show you how they work as you can't figure it out. If they say it is a mistake and they shouldn't be there then inform them as they are fitted you want them working.

I bet they would just say you didn't buy that option, and as its either LR's or the dealers fault, the most you could expect is for them to just replace with the correct cover. ..............Somewhere in-between my old D3 and what's to come next .........
