Hello,
So, I have just taken the plunge and placed an order for a MY06 TDV6 HSE Auto in Bonatti Grey w/ Alpaca. 
I've only recently joined this site, but I've tried to read as much as I can. It has certainly contains a wealth of useful info, and as a result I:
* have made sure I've ordered a MY06 model,
* have ensured that I get a 2006 version of the SatNav DVD
* got some good tips that enabled me to get a satisfactory discount
So thanks for lots of great info!
One thing I have not found though is a conclusive statement as to how I can be absolutely sure it is a MY06 model when I go to pick it up!  Can anyone point me at this?

For a MY06 the chassis number should end with 6A followed by 6 digits.
