Are you asking in theory or practice. In theory of course, in practice, unless you have some good backup I would think twice or at least use your equipment that you have on your web site and take it along.

At the Experience all the electronics gave up. The instructor was very apologetic but I thought that it was good to handle the car and see what it could do without electronic aids.
The Hi/Lo ratio switch still worked but who knows what you are supposed to do if that fails though.
Don't get me wrong, we love the car but I just wish that they had made it without the terrain response thingy, electronic park brake and Hi/Lo ratio switch. It might have been cheaper.

Vinces trips are not serious desert, Penguin (why the heck does a Penguin want to go to the desert) do you mean serious as in days over the desert or just skirting the edge.

never underestimate a penguin 8)
the idea is to really go into the desert
like this (Libia)
Been there years ago, maybe again soon as they are becoming more friendly to see the monuments. I personally would think twice about that sort of expedition until the G4 series of challenges has been run, then we will see what happens to the cars in the adverse areas.
