Super extended mode

As far as I know the Super Extended mode cannot be obtain manually. Or you have to put some piece of woods or anything under the car.

I have read in a french forum that it would be possibel to obtain it if:

Put the car in Extended Mode
Then press the Brake pedals and maintain the Up position button for few seconds...
The Super Extended mode should raised.

Has anyone tried this "manual" way of Super Extended mode?
Does it work?
I will try this week end if I found the time.

That's the tricky bit... normally only happens if it thinks it's grounded unless you fool it somehow

Ken,

I have just realised that we are leaving very close to each other.
I am in Teddington and working in Brentford.

We should be able to meet one day

And when it goes into Super Extended remember to stop driving and give it chance to raise, otherwise you will spin the wheels into the dirt which will dig it away and you will end up proper stuck.
In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

I know what you mean Embarassed . And as everyone knows, but just to mention again, dont let the engine stall or water will shoot up the exhaust and write off the engine.
There's one wheel on my wagon, but i'm still rollin' along, it's the cherokee, they're after me, but I'm singing a happy song

These are the levels published and also used by the design teams. They represent a static condition, so if you keep moving behind a bow wave, you can get away with more.
In the engine department, our main concern was flooding the engine through the exhaust pipe if you were to switch off (or stall) in the middle of a flood. A diesel just dips the bottom of the turbocharger at the maximum depth.

1955diesel wrote:
As you work your way up the engine, the first item of concern is the turbocharger. The fear was that water could damage the bearings or leak past them and run down the oil drain if left standing. Although I am not sure that it would happen in practice, preventing it was part of the requirements. Because of this, the turbo was mounted as high as possible and the manifold became quite cramped.
A lot of work also went into the belt covers to allow water to drain out while minimising the amount getting in. Sealed covers were not a practical solution and wade plugs had been a liability in the past.
In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
