Just a check.. or more..
I have a safari RAI on my new D3, I've read some good reviews of the thing but I was wondering if the G4 RAI would not be quieter at highway speeds than the Safari. Mine gives a soft whistling as of 60 km/h... any experiences with the G4 version ? A second D3 ! This time with all whistles and bells (Auto, 7seats, Diff Lock, RAI, all kinds of protections, winch, Extended range tank, iPod adapter....)
First time twice the same car ! and first time third car of the same brand !
I'm loving it !

I have a Safari fitted but have not noticed any additional noise especially whistling. Others may have had different experiences. 06 TDV6 SE with many LR and after-market extras. Used only on weekends and trips out west.

isn't that why the stereo goes so loud?
any external bolt-ons will increase wind noise, you either get used to it or get over it

the G4 RAi has a nice sound to it... make the engine sound nice too as some of the noise comes out the chimney
