Hey...what a great forum. Until I bumbled onto this a few days ago I had no idea that so much information and expertise was just a couple of mouse clicks away.
I'm hoping that someone can reinforce my enthusiasm with an answer to the following query:
Is it possible to take the head restraints off the 2nd row seats in my TDV6? And if so,how? I don't want to do this permanently, but I would like to access a bit of extra storage space when the seats are in the loadspace configuration.
It seems like it should be relatively straight forward, but I haven't managed it so far.
Any assistance would be appreciated. "I feel like I'm running out of time!"

Hi Denis ...welcome to the forum
If you open a back passenger door stick your head in and look at the headrest....on top of the upright seat you will see where the metal rods from the headrest slide into position into the seat body.
At the base of the left hand rod you will see a plastic finger clip protruding from the circular retainer...push that in and it will allow you to extend the headrest to the tallest height possible.
Once there...look at base of the right hand rod and on the right side of the circular retainer you will see a flush plastic button ...push that in while lifting the headrest ...and the whole unit pops out
Hope that sort of makes sense 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Hi DG
Thanks for your quick response.
Not only did your instructions make sense...but the head rests were all removed in just a couple of minutes. So easy when you know how!!
Cheers
Denis
