sorry again for a silly question.
got replacement box and TC
got new bolts for prop shafts
getting new seal for TC to box
whilst i've got the box off should I gently drain the oil from the cooler pipes etc?
as it will have Dr Tranny in it, and i have new oil for the box.
planning on running it for a couple of months then getting a full flush done, D3 HSE 2.7 TDV6 named Calvin with him stuffed Tiger Hobbes sat in the back

you may as well.
You will probably find it will drain out on it's own if you leave the pipes disconnected overnight. (or just disconnect the upper pipe if it doesn't and that should let air in to help)
Not much oil in the cooler anyway, so may as well remove
