Italian Army LR Defenders

The Italian Army are still using Defender 90s domestically. They have a very important piece of equipment when deployed in towns. Genuinely, every one I saw in Pisa and Florence had one.

saw the other day that our MOD has extended the life of the current LR fleet as there is nothing else that meets the requirements for that segment of vehicle. 2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten

Here in the US the military has what they call a CUCV, which is basically a camoflaged Chevrolet squarebody pickup, and there are some still in use at Camp Grayling in Michigan.
They use the same "accessory" Whistle
