I have recently changed the battery in one of the keys as it was not locking or unlocking the car, a local installer soldered in the replacement battery.
Does the key now need to be reprogrammed to the car?
I am also not sure if this could have caused the car to shut down on the road this morning, with no lights or anything.
The car has never just shut down spontaneously with no life what so ever.
