Good evening all recently gotva d3 and tried to change the vanity mirror bulb with a normal t5 not led. Now the map lights and vanity mirror lights don't come on unless the main centre light button is pressed and the rear main middle button all map lights work when pressed and vanity mirror lights come on any idea could a blown fuse cause this as they don't come on on their own

You could check fuse 1 or 2 behind the glovebox

That vanity mirror bulb is an absolute bustard to change without blowing fuses.
I swapped out all the OEM bulbs for LEDs (from Powerful) and left that vanity one as it was such a PITA.
Mrs prefers the OEM light she says... Jim

I was just confused as they won't turn on on their own but will if two main centre lights are on
