lol, the seals are worn out on the back tailgate or hatch?
Or, there’s a fitting not correctly applied under the bonnet?
Or… you really need to perform a little more investigation on your own. 2015 LR4 HSE Lux Aintree Green

What a coincidence !!
My 5L V8 D4 did this a few weeks ago.
I'd bought a compact spare fuel container, which SEEMED to be sealed - and after storing it, full, in the car I noticed a faint petrol smell each morning.
I tested the container, seemed not to leak - but when I removed it from the car the petrol smell vanished.
So, faulty fuel container, but must be a VERY TINY leak.
Hope your resolution proves simple !!
Cheers
(BTW, can remember from old, it takes only a very small petrol spill to create a strong smell. And petrol vapour mixed with air can be explosive, but it takes a strong mix to create this situation)
