2014 D4 Meridian Amplifier location.

Hi. I have a D4 HSE with Meridian Sound. The touch screen can no longer 'see' the stereo, bluetooth or nav. All was working fine a week ago. I have tried connecting a cardata tool and it also cannot find the stereo on the 'bus.'

I have found that fuse FL11 40A is blown in the fuse box beside the battery and also blows when a new one is put in. (It really looks like a dead short when I tentatively and briefly/quickly put small bit of wire in instead of the fuse!)

I have a Disco 3 as well and the amplifier is clearly under the drivers seat however I cannot find the AMP in D4 amp anywhere.. Anyone any ideas or know what else to check?

Behind the Rear right boot lining. all the items you list are on the most and if that loop is broken by say a dead box, nothing works. For some reason D4s can get a leak in that area and the water can enter the Amp. Have a good look for charring on the connectors and any signs of moisture. Thanks so much. Will check that out in the morning. So happy we are not pulling seats out wrongly but couldn't see that there was enough space under the carpets.

Will let you know how I get on..

Hmm. My wife has also recently bought a dog that stays very close to those expensive looking boxes Sad

It has two sunroofs..

Someone may be able to confirm this but I think a rear sunroof drain drops into that area, if it’s blocked or perished then that will let the water in! 012MY RRS 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography (Current)
