4 wheel alignment
I’ve changed my suspension arms and need a four wheel alignment, I’ve just been to Kwik fit and to be honest not impressed, he wanted me to take it away to free off the track rod ends… wait a minute can’t you do that I thought, he tried undoing the new suspension eccentric bolts but then it came out of the guides…
So I decided there’s no point so I left no further on.
I now need a decent 4 wheel alignment close to me (Swinton) I don’t fancy driving to far, what a weird experience it is, it’s like driving in ice
Can anyone recommend anybody? If it ain't broke... Take it apart anyway, how else you gonna find out how it works

I need to do this too. Just replaced all four rear wishbones so I know for sure nothing is seized etc.
How much should a Hunter alignment cost ?

Often garages and alignment centres do not understand the need for 280Nm torque for the bolts, and, alignment centres often don't have a torque wrench that will reach that.
So that should be your first question to who ever is doing the work. If they waffle or babble you walk away. Tight tolerance is not absolutely necessary provided the car has been allowed to "settle" on the ramp with the engine running and all doors closed. 2-3 minutes will allow time for this and the engine can then be switched off.
The reason for the high torque requirement is because the suspension is designed to rise and fall. If the bolts are not tightened to spec the eyes with the bushes will be ripped from their position causing bush malfunction, handling issues, and premature bush and tyre wear.
Choose very carefully who you give the car to for this work. A centre that does LR/Discovery 4x4 vehicles should be familiar with the tech requirements. yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Drury Lane Diagnostic Centre in Chadderton, literally 2 minutes off M60 J22.
I used them earlier this year and they know what they are doing, see plenty of Discoveries and Range Rovers on their ramps.

I will need to get mine done soon too as just got the rear lower arms and tie rods left to do. The nearest Hunter place to me charges about £120 as long as nothing is seized.
I recently changed my lower front arms, and asked a local tyre place (who advertised doing 4 wheel alignment) to set mine up, they only actually do the toe adjustment and took 3 attempts to get the steering somewhere close. Volunteer driver with 4x4 Response South East Wales

€65 here regardless of the adjustments needed, and usually he takes an hour for a Discovery.yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ
