Evening all
I've been experiencing a vibration like driving over small rumble strips or rough road around 30mph and again around 60mph when on a very slight incline and trying to maintain or increase speed. Doesn't seem to do it on the flat and when I move above 30mph or 60mph (ish) it seems to disappear. Feels like it goes through the whole car and very much feels like drivetrain - my own gut feeling is TC / gearbox.
Does anyone know if this a typical symptom of something like bad TC or gearbox? I haven't noticed revs fluctuating or anything like that, seems to select gears pretty normally, the only thing is occasionally a slight reluctance to kick down to a lower gear. Takes longer than expected when in auto mode.
For context, prop shaft replaced with GKN one 15k miles ago, TC was changed around 100k miles ago (now at 255k miles), gearbox is original with just fluid changes / flushes over the years.
Thanks,
Chris.

Just an update...
Put in two tubes of Dr Tranny yesterday before driving back to London from the Cotswolds and it the symptoms have completely disappeared. Drives like a completely different car which is great for the short term however I guess I will need a new TC (I'm already on the second one) at some point soonish.
