Assistance please

Good morning all
Where do I start , well it’s decided I am keeping my D4 , so I have started by having paint work done car park dinks and lacquer blistering, so she is looking good again will be replacing rear brake pipes and all flexi hoses as they are corroded and she’s ten years old, the help I require is shall I wait for things to be needed or shall i change things now as a preventive measure was thinking of changing all suspension arms and struts anti roll bar bushes drop link arms tracked arms replacement of all oils , but the big one is the engine at 106k is it worth having the engine reconditioned or waiting for it to go ? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated thank you

I think anything above what the 10year service states is a waste of money unless it’s needed, corrosion kills cars not age, no point in making the top look pretty if the bottom is corroded!
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Give it a proper service, and don't worry! It might never go bang. There are plenty of high mileage cars on this forum.

If not already done I would ask Bodsy to flush the transmission, and change oil in the transfer box & differentials.

I assume you have followed the full JLR service schedules so belts etc are no problem.

As posted elsewhere I decided to protect the underside with Lanoguard ++ and had it done professionally by "Zagato" aka Chris Calvert, I am delighted by the outcome.
