Dashboard Shutdown
I have the problem where the dash completely shuts down, revs speedo temp fuel all drop to zero, like the ignition has been turned off but car still drives fine. Fuses seem ok and dash comes back on when it feels like it.
Searching the site a company called totaltronics is recommended but they are closed till the end of august, they also charge £250 which is nearly double other companies.
Trouble is do the other companies know what they are doing?
Can anyone recommend someone other than totaltronics?
Thanks

Sounds like the well-known issue with lead-free solder joints failing. Totaltronics - https://totaltronics.com/ - have sorted this out for several people on here, myself included, and come highly recommended.

Hi Gareth
Just remind us what model years the faulty solder was used on. Mines a 2006 SE, hoping to dodge the bullet.

So earlier this week I sent my instrument cluster off to autotronics and I have to say great service, sent on Monday and back with me and in the car on Friday with good updates throughout.
