Reverse camera
Right, I have searched and searched but the trouble is reverse camera search just brings up threads about OE cameras.
I have an aftermarket pioneer double din unit and an aftermarket camera. I wanted to know how people powered their cameras. Where did you take the power from?

No personal experience with a Discovery, but I’ve had rear cameras installed professionally on other vehicles and I believe the power source for them was taken from the reversing lights.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Usually, the camera is either powered from the din, with a trigger wire from the resvering light, or powered fully from the reversing light. Diagram may not be exact for yours but shows the theory

I think a lot of owners (including myself) have used a piggy back fuse from the L/H fuse box behind glove box area, or take a feed from the boot 12V aux socket on LHS via a fuse. That way, the camera doesn't switch off straight away when reverse is disengaged - some displays stay on for 10 secs or so.Volunteer driver with 4x4 Response South East Wales

That is certainly the case for the factory D3 and D4 displays.
I don't know about double DIN aftermarket. They probably require a reverse light trigger wire, as per the diagram, to switch to the camera display. If the red pigtail can't be used to trigger that, there are 2 reverse light fuses behind the glovebox, which could be used with a piggy back to trigger the display
