We moved to France during COVID and I had to leave a lot behind as it just was not practical to organise transport at the time. Unfortunately, I am losing my storage in the UK so I am trying to decide what to do with my 1987 Defender 110 Cherry Picker. I bought it as a "project" years ago, and it was dragged out of the hedge even then.
I believe it is fitted with a 300TDi engine, rather than a 200TDi. The cherry picker is powered by a hydraulic pump (PTO). I have the bonnet, the wings, inner wings, and new turrets (no shocks). The seat box / seats (not original) are removed as the gearbox remote casing was damaged - now replaced.
It was last started in 2020, when I lifted it onto it's legs to stop it getting stolen. The clutch fluid is black, I think it has water in it. The rest of the cherry picker does not currently work, but the fluid is low and several wires have been cut.
At present I am trying to see if anyone is interested, I have no idea what it's worth - if anything.
It is located in Sudbury, Suffolk and would need trailering away - I believe it weights approx. 3T. It would also need to be removed between the 6th and 13th July.
If anyone is interested please get in touch.
Thanks,
David

Hi Rusty. To comply with site rules, this needs a guide price. If you have no idea then start high!
I have received offers for the Defender minus the cherry picker and it does only appear to be bolted on - it "clamps" to the chassis. There are holes cut in the bed for pipes / legs etc. However, I do not have the facilities to remove it.
