I'm debating whether to DIY it, or get it done by a professional first time, as its very rusty at the back, and could do with a high pressure, high heat clean too. Following which, I'd then apply myself annually. Be interested to know how you get on, though.

Aye, mine was around the same price as yours and as mine was the 1st one they've ever done he was looking forward on my next service to see how his multiple Lanoguard coats have lasted.Discovery 4 HSE late 2015 Euro6

I had the same debate with myself.
In the end I was very pleased to have it professionally done. The reason being, the steam cleaning, the removal of easily removed snapped on or, bolted on pieces. The rust converter application in key areas. The very thinking about extending the suspension and having it up on the lift…. and the dedicated 4 hours of continual work.
My only complaint, which is not really valid but I am particular about these things; the overspray. I like “clean” wherever the eyes focus. As a result, I washed up areas like the engine bay, around the doors, etc.

Must confess didn’t go to a garage , personally used dinitrol , also used fertan on the rear bumper by the towing sockets as it seems that’s an area that can rust
Indeed very time consuming as jet washed it inside and out first, got a drain hose with the different heads in order to push it up through the chassis
Then steam cleaned it and allowed to dry for around a week , was replacing my front struts so left them out until it was all done
Noticed plenty of drain holes which came in handy for access of the dinitrol tubing to be injected into the chassis and underbody
Also removed all the wheel arch liners etc , did lay an old plastic sheet on the driveway and used some safety glasses
One thing I would do differently is using some gloves as took ages to get it off my hands
Hope that’s also useful to u
