Bristol Transmissions are near you, and are well-rated.

There's a place in Keighley , I think it's called B A Transmissions.
A few site members have used them in the past without complaints.
Price is usually very good compared yo others.

New TC's for 2.7 seem to be scarce or no longer available, 3.6 TC's are still listed. Other alternative would be a low mileage used one, I think Disco-Mikey said 2.7 Jag units are the same.Chris

Second symptom is the Shudder, at slight inclines, at around 35-45 km/h. A dose of Dr. Tranny helps for maybe a year, but the TC needs replacement of you get any of the symptoms.

I have the fluctuating RPM for a year or two but not shuddering yet (or not sure what I should look for), how long I should expect to last before it needs replacing?
How dangerous is to travel like this? There’s a risk to brick the transmission or the engine?
How much it cost to replace it, parts and labour?
How much is a kidney worth nowadays?

Cost me 30000 NOK, about £2,5k It's say. Shuddering will be most noticeable at around 2000 RPM and at a high-ish load. Dangers, as far as I've heard, is totaling your gearbox.

Well that seems doable without having to sell my kidney.
Do you mind giving me the name even in a message if you prefer.
Thanks a lot
