Access for screw inlet manifold RH sdv6 D4
Hi all,
So now time for next problem:cracked RH manifold.
I have a question: do anyone have an overview how EGR and is assy to motor? Reason for askungen is that inlet got a screw impossible to reach without EGR(or it bracket? out of the way.
See picture and screwdriver shows the location of screw for manifold.
Thanks
Johnny

You have to take the fuel rail bracket off, and will need to slacken off the EGR valve in order to do this which is held on by 3 bolts.

Ok,thanks.
So 3 bolts to release EGR and then how many for the bracket? 2 bolts is taken away from bracket but maybe there are more bolts?

2 bolts secure the fuel rail bracket to the cylinder head, and once that is out the way you can get to that bolt

Thanks,
I just needed to unscrew the top screw on EGR and then the bracket came loose.
Now its just to find all cover screws in all hamnens and pipes..good to have the new cover to look on.
All best
Johnny
