Unable to select access mode and low range using switches
Good morning all,
For a while now i have been unable to select low range and access mode using the switches, I have tried various things and still no closer so hoping for a bit of advice, i will bullet point below for ease of reading
No faults shown in IID tool and can control the suspension by dropping the valves
Can select access height and when i exceed the speed set it drops back into normal mode but cannot lower with the switch
The IID tool shows doors closed when closed and open when open
Tried cleaning switch contacts, no joy so brought replacement panel off ebay - still no joy
So what's the next steps? my thoughts are below
1. Could both switch panels be faulty with the same fault - possible but unlikely
2. Wiring fault
3. Anything else i might have missed that you wonderful people can suggest?
Thanks for reading if you made it this far

Do any of the orange lights on the switch panel change/respond when you press the buttons?
I would use the IID tool to look at suspension live values > switch inputs
and see if they change when you press the buttons up and down.
And/or find the ecu to the right of the throttle pedal, and see if the switch wires change when pressed.

Thanks Pete, I have just checked the IID for when the switch changes it only registers the up switch press nothing else, so now I've just got the circuit board out and am checking for continuity before going to delve in to the ECU, currently I am only getting continuity between the switch and what I assume is the link to the mud/snow/gravel switch and that gives continuity on both the up and down switch, as yet no continuity to the black and white wire , this may be nothing as I also get no continuity between the up switch and black and purple wire ( sorry this is mostly just me thinking out loud)
Also edited to add - no the LED doesn't change, it just stays lit on off road light which is what mode it is currently

At the risk of a potentially really stupid question shouldn't the ECU be fairly obvious? I can't see it 🤣

It’s up a bit higher
You should be able to see the connectors at the bottom. (From vague memory )
Is it worth fitting the other switch pack and see if the same switch isn’t working

Thanks,
I have tried both switch packs now and same on both,
I'll have another look tomorrow, I'll have to try and limber up and put on my best contortion effort then, which as a larger chap will be good fun lol
