| Instrument Cluster Repair help |

Hi everyone, we have been enjoying our D3 experience for the last year fixing a couple of small issues along the way. But now we have encountered the dreaded system shutdown and hazard light flashing error.
I'm trying to get a local electronics repairer to fix it rather than sending it away as this is our only vehicle at the moment. They would like to know which parts of the circuit board need resoldering, so my question is has anyone taken a cluster apart and identified the areas with poor solder joints? I'd assume as it is a common issue the problem areas would be very similar in each case.
I've searched through a number of older threads, but there is nothing concrete out there.
