Car not starting, Transmission Control Module to blame?

Hi all,
I'm having problems with my 2007 D3 HSE Auto, hoping someone can shed some light.

Went to use the car after a week of non use, only to find that the car won't crank. Turn the ignition on and it's displaying an "E" on the dash, with transmission fault, park brake fault and HDC fault.

Car has a brand new EA1000 battery on it, showing 12.5v.
Battery terminals are clean and tight, negative has a good connection to bodywork.
Starter relay is OK, starter motor is OK.
Fuses are all OK.
Ignition start signal is OK when viewed with gap iid tool.
Brake pedal switch signal is OK when viewed with gap iid tool.

I have the following fault codes:

Parking Brake
U0101-87 (FB) Lost communication
with transmission control module
Bus signal/message failure missing a
message
At 2081 52 km
Triggered on 05-03- 2022 13:29:05

Suspension
U0101-87 (2F) Lost communication
with transmission control module
Bus signal/message failure missing a
message
At 2081 52 km
Triggered on 05-03-2022 13:29:09

Terrain Response
U0101-87 (2F) Lost communication
with transmission control module
Bus signal/message failure missing a message.

Is the Transmission Control Module the smaller ecu located just behind the battery? Have inspected this ecu and can't see any obvious corrosion, damaged pins etc. Have cleaned the connectors with contact cleaner, to no avail.

Would be grateful if anyone could advise on other things to check, next steps etc.

Thanks
Sam.

Have you tried sticking the car on a charger for a day or so to check if it’s anything to do with the battery? Just because the battery is new doesn’t mean it’s not faulty…
I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

thanks for the reply. !st i did a trans flush without removing the sunp and all was fine but still getting tans
F fault sometimes but ran fine. so then i removed the sump and relaced metronic seal between the vale body double checking that the linkage was in position properly even removing the sump again to double check. Not sure if the battery got low during the processes but it is fully charged now. when filling the trans i tried to start the car to warm up the trans fluid to get the correct level but got the E fault on the dash and would not start. I left the bonnet open during the night so maybe but i think unlikely moister would have got into the tans control module. previously i checked the module for corrosion and there was none. I have tried clearing the codes and it says intermittent signal from the module. Im stumped to what is the problem

Thanks Craig

Trans module is inside so unlikely to get moisture in it, was the mechatronic plug clean and free of fluid and is it seated correctly ?
