Are you talking about one of the pull out ones that you leave in it’s “bag” attached via the awning channel while you travel, our just a sun canopy that is just like having the awning roof section fitted?

If it’s the former, chrck your caravan is ok with having the extra weight of this in the awning channel whilst travelling. Our service center guy said he wouldn’t have one fitted on our 2018 Elddis as he’d seen them fetch the awning channel off the caravan.

H8. Yes the ones in the channel.
Didn't think of that. I imagined with a full size awning in strong winds the tug would be strong.
I will look into that
Thank you mate

Here's my setup with a Fiamma sunblind with no issues.

If it gets breezy I apply the Isabella tie down straps.

I too wholeheartedly recommend the Fiamma Caravanstore (in the bag on the awning rail). We’ve been using them since 2005 on Swift, Lunar and Coachman caravans and never had any problems with awning rails.

We don’t leave the canopy attached during the periods we’re not likely to use it though, but they travelled to the Med (and other parts) numerous times.
