Aluminium Rear Calipers

I've got the early ally rear calipers on my MY10 D4. Has anyone changed them to the later steel version? Is there anything else to change (like carriers)?

I'm up to 140k and expecting the LH side to sieze any minute (I changed the RH at 113k). I've got a set of discs to go on when a caliper next seizes (or pads go) and thought I may as well change to steel at the same time. If it's not too much of a hassle.

Yes, straight swap, but you must swap both at the same time Thumbs Up

Just to confirm, only the caliper itself needs swapped? Is the carrier common to both types?

Thanks Mikey. Presume new calipers don’t come with sliders but the old ones can be reused?

If I recall correctly you must use new bolts too though. Not necessarily included in the box.
