[For Sale] Parts Clearout - Prospeed Mk1 Roof Rack
D3 is to be sold, so I'm selling off all my spares/unused bits...
I've really found this an exceptionally useful rack. It is well used (scuffed in places and some of the mesh/wire bits on top could do with attention. But, it's sound and usable and I've had all sorts on it including Bikes, 8x4 sheet timber and all manner of other things. I found the simplicity of the 'chuck it on top and strap it down' type design really very useful indeed.
Includes 3x side awning mounts, though I cannot find the split-pins for them but they're available for a couple of quid on the likes of Amazon.
The whole thing would benefit from a sand, primer and top coat to extend it's life for another good number of years.
It fits mine with the short roof rails, attaches using the standard mounting points on the track.
Collection only (of course) and I'm happy to help someone fit it to their vehicle. I'm in Wokingham/Reading/Marlow during the week so I'm happy to meet anywhere reasonable along the M3/M4 corridor around Maindenhead/Reading/Marlow/High Wycombe etc.
I paid £500 for it, so with the awning mounts I'd take £400 collected.
