IID showing suspension level as bump stops
Hi
I've got an IID and have a question, my air suspension currently doesn't adjust so am investigating a switch issue but when I go into the suspension settings on the app (the one where you can adjust the height mode) it shows bump stop mode in white which means its current setting yet the suspension height is normal road height, have tried a recalibration but no change, am I missing something?

Whats faults are stored in the system? are there any live faults for the suspension?Disco4 MY16 SDV6 Landmark Black

Hi
No, no live faults showing in the system, and to get it in to the garage i have been able to lower the suspension using the valves and have put the suspension in to build mode just to get it off the road as a temporary measure.
Attached is some images that i posted on the other post before i realised the IID would not drop it either,

Perhaps I am not following what you are saying about the IID showing "bump stop mode in white", but the figures you post above all look fine to me for normal ride-height. The individual wheel sensors should show a height figure of around zero in normal mode (as indeed yours do) and then positive or negative figures for raised or lowered.Previously:

In my experience I've had 2 main issues with the suspension over the years, On my MY11 D4 I had a corroded/broken wire close to the plug in the N/S/R wheel arch , where it goes over the chassis rail close to the large plug, and the compressor desiccant being saturated.. Which I've had a few times now.
Can you hear the compressor?
Is the switch lit up to show position?
Not sure if there are secondary faults stored for the suspension? I know there is for the engine, a couple of times now, I've had an intake manifold split, not 'main faults' but showed faults in the secondary faults, maybe have a check and see if there is anything stored in there?Disco4 MY16 SDV6 Landmark Black

Thanks its probably me not explaining it very well, in hindsight i should have taken a screenshot,
As i cannot get a screenshot at the moment i will hopefully explain using the picture from the IID manual,
In this picture my coloured functions look identical, so white being bump stop mode, the main difference is when i am in this screen i do not see any values for heights or temperature as if it cannot connect,
Does that make sense?
Thanks
Andy

Thanks Browny, i will have another look later on this evening if i get a chance or tomorrow
Yes i can hear the compressor and when i selected it rock crawl mode it jacked it up to height then returned to normal when i started driving,
The LED next to the switch is lit up to show position
Interestingly when i was going through the historical faults I cleared that i screenshotted before clearing i found this one which may be relevant

Would the ride level control module essentially be the switch? which i initially suspected was faulty?

Ah, that makes sense! I'm assuming though that this is what you were seeing before you put it into build-mode? When I put mine into build-mode, I no longer see any of these settings highlighted in white, they all appear as green.Previously:

Yes that's correct, I'll try it again in build mode and see what happens
