Air intake grill passenger side

Is there a trick to removing the false intake grill on the passenger side?

I get a small amount of movement then the wing itself starts to flex.
A visitor from the dark side, my other vehicle is an is still an EV. Strictly speaking its SWMBO.

Looks like there’s just 4 clips. If brute force isn’t working (default method for Landrover parts) try a thin tool in at the points to release?

you got to grab it pull upwards hard and than outwards

it will feel flexy during that process but should not brake

not the way I have done it.
Use your long flat screwdriver, and depress the locking tabs which are accessible near the hood hinge. Then merely, lightly pull, rotating the top of the grill, down.

Looking at the design of the bottom clips there is the potential for them to go down behind the wing and have to fold back for the trim to come out.

It is notable in the video that one of the clips on the silver one being removed is already broken yet it was still hard to get out.

the grill on D4 has clips on the top. They do not have the rigid tab.
