So I’m looking for a little help with a lock out situation I’m having.
2005 Tdv6
Here’s what I have tried so far .
Emergency key in drivers door. Key just spins and doesn’t seam to catch on anything that remotely resembles an unlocking moment.
Checked battery in fob and connections.
Levered the top of the door and pressed unlock on dash.
Levered door and hooked handle and given a good few tugs.
I suspect I am having issues with the green splice as the wife reported water again in the floor a few days back, despite fixing sunroof drains previously.
I can get under the bonnet without too much trouble and a mechanic friend suggested back powering the ignition so I could get a window down on the the switch but I can see how I would do this looking at the wiring diagram’s.
So I’m after any further suggestions. I watched a Renault mechanic open a truck once by jumping a a wire behind a panel.
Anyone know of anything similar on the D3?
Thanks in advance
Ooh, and I’ve read almost every post I can find on the locked out subject.

I would try waiting for the temperature inside the car to change and with luck the green splice and remote will start working
The door handles are probsbly disabled due to deadlocking
I believe there maybe a way to get the tailgate open, but I would try waiting.
If you have a towbar white socket you can apply power if you think the battery is flat

Hey thanks for the advice. We are a bit time sensitive as the all the wife’s kit is in the car and she works in the NHS doing community support.
I’ve been lubricating the passenger lock and wiggling the key and the feel has changed on this which gives me a spot of hope.
