My D3 is spitting out the following error code:
U0100-87 PBM Lost communication with engine control module/powertrain control module 'A'
I came across this error by coincidence as I was doing some data measurements. Completely unrelated.
The car has absolutely no symptoms - transmission, brakes, engine, suspension - everything works perfectly well. Parking brake works fine - I note that the error comes from the PBM ECU, so assuming it would be related.
The only issue is an AC condenser full of holes (which I have no urgency to repair since, well, it's winter), which gives me an HVAC system pressure error (B1B78-84), but I believe it's fair to say they are unrelated.
I'm hesitant to just ignore it. Cleared it but it keeps coming back.
Any advice on what to do with it?
For info, using SSD using a genuine Mongoose.
