My son wasworking on our D3 2008my, (2.7td auto) he was trying to remove a bit of trim and decided to put the car into neutral, engine running, he puts in to neutral, he hears a pop and the pedal starts to sink.
Everytime he depressed the pedal he could heara hissing type sound.
No no noise and a soft pedal.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance, John.

Yes, we are, that was the first thing I found on google...😁
My son has just messed me, one of the brake pipes has popped out of a fitting, doesn't look like it had been flaired properly.
We couldn't see the fluid on the wet drive but the reservoir is empty.
Thanks for your reply.

Now all I have to do is find the correct size for the pipe and fittings but that is proving rather difficult at the moment ..

Just think your self very lucky it didn’t “pop” at 70mph It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
