Activate 4x4 screen in a "low spec" Disco3 |
|
Not sure if this was already posted or a "known trick" by most of you.
As a new 2007 XS owner, I found this trick super useful as the navigation maps are super outdated and from another part of Europe, which renders it pretty much useless.
I found this: video and decided to give it a try.
15 minutes later I had full access to the 4x4 menu and all the other "Range rover" options!
Highly recommend doing this little hack for us "low spec" users. [/url]

Proper "low spec" ones don't have a screen.

That was the reason i chose the XS without the (leaky) sunroof, heated/electric seats.

Its an old hack and does partly work, the phone book gets confused sometimes and locks up if using the phone, the better mod for this was fit a D4 screen with newer maps, but even thats out of date now.
Waze app on the phone is the way to go on a D3 now for navigation.
