I also am fitting one this weekend so any advice or help would be appreciated. In return I will knock up a ‘how to’ guide for idiots like me when all is good.

Yes between the factory FBH remote plug which is present on all D4s, and into the Altox. Sorts the power and connection to FBH.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

I asked my local inde to switch on the FBH remote plug for when I fit my Altox. Did it FOC but with the comment “Not sure really which it was – I turned a couple of things on”.
Fingers crossed
If I need to revisit them at the weekend because my Altox doesn't work, how is the FBH remote plug described in the CCF files?
Now sorted

With thanks to the wiring harness purchased from the site shop
The ALTOX is up and running
I’ve used an Asda sim, and lobbed £5 on it
Will monitor how long this lasts but even a bundle £5pm for unlimited texts calls &3gig is cheaper than what I was paying for my previous tracker.
Ccf change to tell car It now has iirc radio control night heater, I think pager control didn’t respond
Or was it the other way round
It works anyway
The files to change are within HVAC ventilation and are;
Timed climate – enabled
FBH call start - fitted radio
Fuel burning heater – fitted park heating

Do all D4s have this? I'm picking up a D4 tomorrow and already have an Altox unit ( car and unit bought from members), it'd be nice to just be able to plug it in! It's a 2009 D4, will the loom work?

Have a look in your boot where your jack is. If you have the Telestart connector (wrapped inside grey foam) then the good news is in is super easy to install your Altox.

All D4s have the FBH remote connector in the rear panel.
I think the 10MY and 11MY have it buried a bit further forward than the later D4s.
So look further forward, for a 6 pin plug with 3 wires fitted (Purple/brown, Black and red). Connector may be wrapped in foam.
